چکیده

در این تحقیق, تأثیر میدان الکترومغناطیسی با فرکانس  kHz1 بر روی رشد و همچنین میزان ونوع اسانس بخش های هوایی گیاه ریحان (Ocimum basilicum) مورد بررسی قرار گرفت. بدین منظور  گیاهان به مدت 6 روز و هر روز به مدت 5 ساعت به­صورت ناپیوسته با میدان الکترومغناطیسی تیمار شدند. در گروههای تیمارشده میزان رشد گیاه نسبت به گروه شاهد کاهش نشان داد. میزان اسانس در گروه­­ تیمار شده با میدان الکترومغناطیسی نسبت به گروه­ شاهد کاهش نشان داد که این امر می­تواند به دلیل کاهش فعالیت آنزیم های دخیل در بیوسنتز اسانس ها در معرض تیمار با میدان الکترومغناطیسی باشد. ترکیب غالب اسانس در گروه تیمار و شاهد همواره متیل کاویکل، ژرانیول و نرول بود, اما مقدار این ترکیبهای غالب در گروه­­ تیمارشده و شاهد با یکدیگر متفاوت بود. میزان متیل­کاویکل آن در گیاهان تیمار شده با میدان الکترومغناطیسی نسبت به گروه­ شاهد افزایش نشان داد.  تغییر محتوای اسانس ها و ترکیبهای سازنده آنها پیشنهاد می­کند که بتوان از میدان الکترومغناطیسی به عنوان ابزاری برای افزایش اسانس ها و ترکیبهای مفید دارویی در گیاهان استفاده نمود.
