چکیده

هدف این تحقیق بررسی اثرات سطوح مختلف پودر گیاه نعناع فلفلی (Mentha piperita L.) بر سیستم ایمنی، خصوصیات لاشه و عملکرد بلدرچین‌های ژاپنی بود. برای این منظور از 200 قطعه جوجه بلدرچین ژاپنی Coturnix Japonica (Coturnix) یک روزه در قالب طرح کاملاً تصادفی با 4 تیمار و 5 تکرار و 10 پرنده در هر تکرار استفاده شد. تیمارهای آزمایشی شامل چهار سطح نعناع فلفلی (صفر، 0.25، 0.5 و 0.75 درصد) بودند. نتایج این آزمایش نشان داد که مصرف سطوح 0.5 و 0.75 درصد پودر نعناع فلفلی موجب کاهش شدت انفجار تنفسی شد (01/0P<). عدم تأثیر تیمارهای آزمایشی بر نسبت هتروفیل به لنفوسیت، هتروفیل، لنفوسیت و مونوسیت مشاهده گردید (0.05>P). همچنین سطوح مختلف پودر گیاه نعناع فلفلی نسبت به تیمار شاهد به‌طور چشمگیری باعث کاهش آنتی‌بادی‌ها در مقابل آنتی‌ژن گلبول‌های قرمز خون گوسفندی (SRBC) و تضعیف سیستم ایمنی هومورال شد (0.01>P). بعلاوه اینکه سطوح مختلف پودر گیاه نعناع فلفلی با افزایش تکثیر لنفوسیت‌ها و افزایش معنی‌دار ضخامت پرده بین انگشتان پا در پاسخ به تزریق SRBC سبب تقویت سیستم ایمنی سلولی گردید (0.01>P). مصرف پودر گیاه نعناع فلفلی تأثیری بر عملکرد بلدرچین‌های ژاپنی در طول هفته‌های مختلف آزمایشی و کل دوره نداشت (0.05>P). همچنین اختلاف معنی‌داری بین تیمارهای آزمایشی از لحاظ خصوصیات لاشه، وزن اندام‌های داخلی و طول و وزن بخش‌های مختلف روده وجود نداشت (0.05>P). بنابراین با توجه به تقویت پاسخ‌های ایمنی سلولی توسط پودر گیاه نعناع فلفلی، می‌توان استفاده از پودر گیاه نعناع فلفلی را هنگام نیاز به تقویت پاسخ‌های ایمنی سلولی در بیماری‌های ویروسی مانند نیوکاسل، برونشیت و آنفولانزا یا عفونت‌های انگلی داخل سلولی مانند کوکسیدیوز پیشنهاد کرد.
