Salvia sharifii Rech.F. & Esfand. یکی از گونه‌های دارویی انحصاری در ایران و متعلق به تیره نعناع (Lamiaceae) می‌باشد. در این پژوهش، اندام‌های مختلف (گل، برگ و ساقه) این گونه مریم‌گلی در اسفند سال 1396 از منطقه بخون استان هرمزگان جمع‌آوری گردیده و از نظر مقدار اسانس و تنوع ترکیب‌های شیمیایی موجود در آنها مورد مطالعه قرار گرفتند. اسانس نمونه‌ها به‌روش تقطیر با آب استخراج و ترکیب‌های شیمیایی آنها با دستگاه گاز کروماتوگرافی (GC) و گاز کروماتوگرافی متصل به طیف‌سنج جرمی (GC-MS) شناسایی شد. عملکرد اسانس اندام‌های مختلف گل، برگ و ساقه به‌ترتیب 1.38، 1.14 و 0.84 درصد (وزنی/ وزنی) بدست آمد. اجزای شیمیایی شناسایی شده در گل، برگ و ساقه به‌ترتیب 45، 42 و 43 ترکیب بود. نتایج آنالیز ترکیب‌های اسانس نشان داد که لینالول (38.7%)، هگزیل ایزووالرات (13.8%)، هگزیل کاپریلات (6.2%)، هگزیل ایزوبوتیرات (4.6%)، هگزیل-2-متیل بوتیرات (4.4%)، ترانس-کاریوفیلن (3.8%) و ان-هگزیل هگزانوات (3.7%) اجزای اصلی اسانس گل بودند. در اسانس برگ لینالول (17.0%)، هگزیل کاپریلات (11.1%)، آلفا- هومولن (7.8%)، ترانس-کاریوفیلن (6.2%)، اسکلارئول اکسید (5.9%)، نوتکاتون (3.7%)، هگزیل ایزو والرات (3.5%) و آگاروسپیرول (3.0%) بیشترین ترکیب‌های اسانس را به خود اختصاص دادند. در اسانس ساقه ترکیب‌های لینالول (18.7%)، اسکلارئول اکسید (8.0%)، آلفا-هومولن (7.5%)، ترانس-کاریوفیلن (7.2%)، هگزیل ایزو والرات (5.2%)، کاریوفیلن اکسید (5.0%)، ان-هگزیل هگزانوات (4.8%)، نوتکاتون (4.1%) و دی‌بوتیل فتالات (4.0%) به‌فراوانی وجود داشتند. ترکیب غالب و مشترک در اسانس اندام‌های این گونه مریم‌گلی، لینالول بود که در اسانس گل بیشترین و در برگ کمترین مقدار مشاهده گردید. وجود تنوع شیمیایی در اسانس اندام‌های مختلف این گیاه می‌تواند برای صنایع دارویی، غذایی و آرایشی‌ بهداشتی و نیز به‌نژادگران گیاهان دارویی در انتخاب اندام مناسب برای مصرف و اهداف اصلاحی مورد توجه قرار گیرد.
