چکیده

هیپرتانسیون یا فشار خون بالا از ریسک فاکتورهای مهم بیماری‌های قلبی عروقی می‌باشد، که سبب ایجاد حالت عدم کارآیی در آندوتلیال و افزایش سختی شریان می‌شود. آب انار سرشار از پلی‌فنل‌های فعال زیستی است که با عملکرد آنتی‌اکسیدانتی موجب محافظت از قلب و عروق می‌شود. این مطالعه به‌صورت یک کارآزمایی بالینی، یک سو کور، کنترل با دارونما به مدت دو هفته اجرا شد. 21 بیمار مبتلا به فشار خون بالا با محدوده سنی67-30 در مطالعه شرکت کردند. بیماران به‌طور تصادفی ساده به دو گروه کنترل، مصرف‌کننده آب (دارونما) (10 نفر) و گروه مورد مصرف‌کننده آب انار (11 نفر) نقسیم شدند. میزان فشار خون سیستولیک (SBP)، فشار خون دیاستولیک (DBP) و اختلال عملکرد جریان عروق (FMD)، همراه با سطح سرمی لیپید پروفایل و آپولیپوپروتئین A و B قبل و بعد از بررسی برای دو گروه تعیین گردید. داده‌ها توسط نرم‌افزار SPSS و با استفاده از آزمون‌های آماری تی‌زوج و تی‌مستقل بررسی شدند. میانگین SBP (002/0=p) و DBP (038/0=p) در گروه مصرف‌کننده PJ نسبت به گروه کنترل به‌طور قابل‌توجهی کاهش داشت، با این حال هیچ تفاوت معنی‌داری در میزان تغییرات FMD، لیپید پروفایل و آپولیپوپروتئین A و B بین دو گروه مشاهده نشد. مصرف آب انار موجب کاهش فشار خون می‌شود. البته مصرف آب انار می‌تواند در هر دو زمینه مداخلات رژیم غذایی و دارویی برای فشار خون بالا در نظر گرفته شود.
