Abstract

Dracocephalum moldavica L. from labiatae family which ids distributed family in north,north west and some parts of central provinces of Iran. The essential oil of this plant is full of citral and derivatives which applied widely in perfumery. Badrashbi-Water are locally produced from fresh plant and used as heart invigoration and relaxing the body.
As part of a screening programme on the aromatic plants of Iran , we are going to report the chemical composition of the essential oil from this plant which is named locally "Badrashbi".
