Journal History
Iranian Journal of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants Research (IJMAPR) has since 1998. This publication has been published since 2002 with license number 124/18128 dated 8 March 2003 by the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance and since 1385 based on letter number 3/4510 dated 1 August 2006 from the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, was published as a research publication by the Research Institute of Forests and Pastures of the country. Iranian Medicinal and Aromatic Plants Research Journal of the year 2021 has a cooperation agreement with the Scientific Association of Iranian Medicinal Plants.
The publishing period of this publication is bimonthly and it has been published quarterly since the beginning of 2022. The authors are suggested to continuously check their profile on the manuscript portal for updates on the review process.
IJMAPR publishes The latest findings and results of research conducted in the field of Medicinal and aromatic plants (identification, agriculture, ethnobotany, phytochemistry, Herbal products, microbiology and genetic diversity, etc.).

Under an Open Access license, authors are the copyright holder in this journal and retain the copyright and full publishing rights without restrictions, but allow anyone to download, reuse, reprint, and copy the article's content, provided that the original authors and source are properly cited.

Plagiarism Detection
Following the regulation of scientific publications of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology and to protect the rights and intellectual and intellectual property of researchers and prevent the publication of duplicate articles, IJMAPR uses the similarity detection software (Hamyab) to ensure the authenticity of the articles sent to this journal. All submitted manuscripts are checked for similarity through Hamyab software to ensure their authenticity and then rigorously peer-reviewed by expert reviewers. Therefore, it is suggested that respected authors make sure that their article does not overlap with other scientific effects before sending it.
Financial Policies
Revenue Sources and Article Processing Charges
According to the approvals issued by the Department of Research Policy and Planning of the Iranian Ministry of Science, Research and Technology (MSRT) and its Secretariat of the Commission of Scientific Journals Evaluation of the MSRT, the manuscript processing charge is 1000000 IRR, followed by an additional 1500000 IRR publication charge in case of acceptance.
Subscription Fee
IJMAPR publishes as an open access electronic journal, so there is no subscription fee for audiences.
Publishing schedule
