This plant is regarded as a cure for breast cancer due to antioxidant properties. The availability of manganese (Mn) in plants is governed by redox processes which depend upon pH and the presence of electrons. Excess Mn disturbs the metabolism of plants and inhibits the plant growth and oxidative stress is also induced which leads to the formation of reactive oxygen species (ROS) including superoxide, hydroxyl and hydrogen peroxide that could damage plant cells. Salicylic acid (SA) is a natural signal molecule which plays an important role in regulating a number of physiological processes and plant resistance to biotic and abiotic stresses. The protective function of SA includes the regulation of ROS, antioxidants, induction of gene expression, absorption and distribution of elements. In this investigation, the effects of different levels of salicylic acid (0, 0.01, 0.05, 0.1mM) on different concentrations of Mn (0, 250, 500, 800µM) were studied on Lepidium sativum. Results showed that addition of SA (0.01, 0.05, 0.1mM) improved the inhibition of induced calcium and magnesium uptake. Ascorbare content in leaf was increased by SA (0.01, 0.05, 0.1mM) but decreased by concentrations of 500 and 800 µM Mn. The proline content significantly increased in treatments of Mn and SA. The protein content decreased by 500 and 800 µM but the treatment of SA (0.01, 0.05, 0.1mM) increased the protein content under conditions of manganese toxicity.}, keywords = {Lepidium sativum L,Ascorbate,salicylic acid,Manganese}, title_fa = {اثر پیش‌تیمار دانه‌ها با سالیسیلیک اسید روی سمّیت منگنز در گیاه شاهی (Lepidium sativum L.)}, abstract_fa = {شاهی (Lepidium sativum L.) گیاهی دارویی است. این گیاه برای درمان تومور و سرطان سینه به دلیل ویژگی آنتی‌اکسیدانی قابل‌توجه است. دسترسی منگنز در گیاهان به‌وسیله فرایندهای ردوکس که به pH خاک و دسترسی الکترون بستگی دارد، کنترل می‌شود. منگنز اضافی متابولیسم گیاه را آشفته و رشد گیاه را مهار می‌کند، همچنین تنش اکسیداتیو القاء می‌کند که منجر به تشکیل گونه‌های فعال اکسیژن شامل رادیکال‌های سوپراکسید، هیدروکسیل و پراکسیدهیدروژن می‌شود که می‌تواند به سلول گیاه آسیب برساند. سالیسیلیک اسید، سیگنال طبیعی است که نقش مهمی در تنظیم تعدادی از فرایندهای فیزیولوژیکی و مقاومت گیاه به تنش‌های زیستی و غیرزیستی دارد. وظیفه حمایتی سالیسیلیک اسید شامل تنظیم رادیکال‌های آزاد و آنتی‌اکسیدان‌ها، القاء بیان ژن و جذب و پخش عناصر است. در این مطالعه اثر سطح‌های مختلف 0، 01/0، 05/0 و 1/0 میلی‌مولار سالیسیلیک اسید روی سطوح مختلف 0، 250، 500 و 800 میکرومولار منگنز در گیاه شاهی مورد بررسی قرار گرفت. نتایج نشان داد که افزودن سالیسیلیک اسید (01/0، 05/0 و 1/0) مهار جذب کلسیم و منیزیم القاء شده توسط منگنز اضافی را بهبود می‌بخشد. محتوای آسکوربیک‌اسید در برگ به‌وسیله سالیسیلیک اسید (01/0، 05/0 و 1/0) افزایش و این محتوا در غلظت‌های 500 و 800 منگنز کاهش یافت. محتوای پرولین به‌طور معنی‌داری در تیمار منگنز و سالیسیلیک اسید افزایش یافت. در غلظت‌های 500 و 800 میکرومولار منگنز محتوای پروتئین کاهش یافت، اما تیمار سالیسیلیک اسید (01/0، 05/0 و 1/0) محتوای پروتئین را در شرایط سمّیت منگنز افزایش داد.}, keywords_fa = {شاهی (Lepidium sativum L.),آسکوربیک‌اسید,سالیسیلیک اسید,منگنز}, url = {https://ijmapr.areeo.ac.ir/article_3038.html}, eprint = {https://ijmapr.areeo.ac.ir/article_3038_bc96179ece9cc29faff54e038ebdf061.pdf} }
