The bacterial strains sensitive to the oils were in Candida albicans> E. coli> S. aureus> P. aeruginosa order. Minimum inhibitory and bactericidal concentrations were observed in the range of 0.5-10mg/ml. Total phenolics of S. sahendica and the S. hortensis were 170.5±8.53 and 47.25±2.14 µg Gallic acid equivalent per mg sample. Antioxidative property of the oils was carried out using DPPH free radical scavenging and beta-carotene bleaching tests and the results were compared with the standard synthetic antioxidants. Lipid peroxidation inhibitions were comparable to or higher than the synthetic antioxidants. The concentrations from S. sahendica and S. hortensis oils required for 50% free radical scavenging (IC50) were 6.25 and 5.82 μg/ml respectively. Ferric-reducing antioxidant power (FRAP) of S. sahendica oil was greater than that of the S. hortensis oil. The superoxide anion radical scavenging activities of S. sahendica and S. hortensis oils were 55.28%±1.16 and 21.81%±2.46 at 15µg/ml oil with an IC50 of 9.4 and 101.2 µg respectively. Tyrosinase activity of one µg S. sahendica oil was 47.88±%1.33 while that of the S. hortensis oil at 15 µg level was 15.35%±2.9. In conclusion, the results from biological properties of Satureja sahendica are indicative of its potentials for food and drug industries applications.}, keywords = {Antimicrobial,Antioxidant,superoxide anion radical scavenging,antityrosinase,Essential oils,Satureja}, title_fa = {خواص ضدمیکروبی، آنتی‌اکسیدانی، رادیکال‌زدایی سوپر اکساید آنیونی و ضدتیروسینازی اسانس‌های مرزه سهندی (Satureja sahendica Bornm.) و مرزه زراعی (Satureja hortensis L.)}, abstract_fa = {در این مطالعه فعالیت ضدباکتریایی اسانس‌های مرزه سهندی (Satureja sahendica Bornm.) و مرزه زراعی (Satureja hortensis L.) ارزیابی شد. نمای حساسیتی میکروارگانیسم‌ها در برابر اسانس مرزه سهندی و مرزه زراعی براساس حساسترین به مقاومترین Candida albicans > E. coli> S. aureus > P. aeruginosa بود. کمترین غلظت مهارکنندگی و کشندگی اسانس‌ها در طیف 5/0 تا 10 mg/ml قرار داشت. فنل کل اسانس‌های مرزه سهندی و مرزه زراعی به‌ترتیب معادل 53/8 ± 5/170 و 14/2 ± 25/47 میکروگرم گالیک‌اسید در هر میلی‌گرم نمونه تعیین شد. سنجش خاصیت آنتی‌اکسیدانی اسانس‌ها با روش DPPH، نشان داد که قدرت رادیکال‌زدایی اسانس‌ها تقریباً برابر هم ولی به‌مراتب بیشتر از آنتی‌اکسیدان‌های سنتتیک بود. فعالیت آنتی‌اکسیدانی با روش بتاکاروتین و قدرت احیای فریک اسانس مرزه سهندی قویتر از مرزه زراعی است. مقدار اسانس لازم برای 50% رادیکال‌زدایی اسانس مرزه سهندی و مرزه زراعی به‌ترتیب 25/6 و 82/5 μg/ml بود. قدرت احیای فریک (FRAP) اسانس مرزه بیش از اسانس مرزه زراعی بود. فعالیت رادیکال‌زدایی سوپراکساید آنیونی اسانس مرزه سهندی و مرزه زراعی به‌ترتیب 16/1 ± 28/55 و 46/2 ± 81/21 درصد به‌ازای µg/ml15 اسانس با IC50 معادل 4/9 و 2/101 میکروگرم تعیین گردید. درصد فعالیت ضدتیروسینازی به‌ازای یک میکروگرم اسانس مرزه سهندی 33/1 ± 88/47 و به‌ازای 15 میکروگرم اسانس مرزه زراعی 9/2 ± 35/15 بود. در مجموع، مطالعه خواص بیولوژیک اسانس مرزه سهندی نشان می‌دهد که قابلیت خوبی برای بررسی کاربرد آن در صنعت غذا و دارو وجود دارد.}, keywords_fa = {ضدمیکروبی,آنتی‌اکسیدان,رادیکال‌زدایی سوپراکساید آنیونی,ضدتیروسینازی,روغن‌های اسانسی,مرزه}, url = {https://ijmapr.areeo.ac.ir/article_2914.html}, eprint = {https://ijmapr.areeo.ac.ir/article_2914_622ef999788f9b559a1d9404b9826b6e.pdf} }
